Escape Plan Foiled!

We had another meeting with our fellow escapees Mick and Elly from NB Parisien Star last night - we met in 'The Star' and discussed our respective plans. They decided to surrender early and head back to the marina today.  We told them of our plans to head off in the direction of the Wash, cross the North Sea and end up in Norway ... however, Elly reminded us that the Stoke locks were going to be shut, plus we would miss Monday afternoon tea and drinks back at the marina - bugger!  So, we decided to go to Barlaston, chuck a u-ey and head back to the marina Monday morning. We can't miss the afternoon tea!

The blog now reverts from silly to normal blogging.....

The dogs assumed the normal position ...

We passed Elly and Mick as they were heading back, Elly is taking a pic in the back ground ...

Lovely wintry setting at Meaford bottom lock ...

Even Geoffrey came up on the deck ...

Escaped from where I wonder?

Elaine took the tiller for a while ..

View from the side hatch tonight...

It was a lovely day for a cruise - not many boats about, and quite a nice temperature ... as in, it wasn't bloody freezing!

Back to the marina tomorrow, which is quite pleasant really, but I like to have a bit of fun every now and again and let my imagination run wild!
