Benicassim

We had a bit of a broken sleep last night, what with the heat and thousands of bloody mozzies.  We have fly screens on every door, window and roof hatch but the bloody things still get inside the van.

We emptied out the grey waste at the motorhome service point plus gave the old bus a hose down to get rid of some of the accumulated dust.  It is amazing on how much the grey water stinks ... interestingly on a narrowboat the grey water goes straight into the canal!

We said goodbye to our young Aussie friends ...

We headed north for about two hours avoiding the motorways.  It is really interesting driving through the towns off the tourist routes ...

We passed over a lot of huge dry rivers.  It must be such an amazing sight when the rivers flow, I can imagine the whole town comes out to watch ...

We pulled up at a place called Bencassim and checked into a campsite called Bonterra Park, which had been recommended to us by a couple of people.  We needed to do a big wash so we chucked the linen etc in the machine then lazed by the pool waiting for it.  It was another day in the high 30s ...

This afternoon's view from the sunbed ...

Big night tonight ... Holland vs Spain in the world cup followed on by Chile vs Australia!

We will stay here for a few days coz the camp-site is the best yet!  We will check the town out tomorrow.
