White Nancy.........Again!

We spotted NB Albert on the Bolly Aqueduct yesterday.  When we first picked up our boat Caxton in March 2012 it was moored up at Yardley Gobion, which is the home base for NB Albert ...

Today we were once again going to walk up White Nancy, then carry on along the Kerridge Ridge before dropping down to Kerridge then back to Bolly.

I thought I was well dressed for the walk, Elaine said I was dressed like a nob!

The fields are now full of buttercups - just stunning.
White Nancy is the little white dot at the top of the hill ...

Fantastic views today, Jodrell Bank was easy to spot in the distance.  We could also see Liverpool which is nearly 50 miles (80ks) away ...

We never tire of the views from up here ...

We always have a chat when we pass this friendly horse on the way back ...

I forgot to mention that Elaine's brother Trevor joined us on the walk, but first he walked to our house from Macclesfield and after a tea break at our place he walked back to Macclesfield!!  He is a machine!

Tomorrow we are off to Rookery Hall for an all day Spa thanks to our boaty friends from Aston Marina (Winter Moorers)!
